This animation was made by Finnish artist Marko Niemi and published in his web-magazine Nokturno.
y (gul poesi) was the start of my use of both the colour yellow and the extended use of the letter “y”. This has even resulted in the identification of myself with a yellow “y”. The letter therefore symbolically turns into a personal character. Additionally, I am extending the use of this letter while at the same time creating new words by changing spelling and replacing single letters with a “y”, i. e. “rymymbyr” (from my animated video-poem when, 2011).
